How does kingdoms of camelot work

Again, you can see what your production rates are when you click the bar I have highlighted in red on the top picture.

Sometimes your resource accumulation rate will be raised by "buffs" or bonus percentages. If you wish to know the base rate of production it can be found in the overview section of your castle by clicking the "production" sub-menu.

It's good to keep in mind that quests involving resource production rates are only awarded by the base production. Click the icon in the bottom left hand corner signified in pink on the top picture which will take you even further out to the Map View. The map view could be broken down into it's own section and perhaps in time it will. For now, here are a few key things to know.

The black, white, pink, and purple boxes represent wilds you can attack and will boost your percentage of a single resource production. You may have as many wilds as are equivilent to your castle level.

Lakes and Grasslands black boost Food. Mountains white boost Ore. Hills purple boost Stone. Forrests pink boost Wood. See the "Wilderness" section for more info. The orange square will store bookmarked locations of any point of the map. This is especially handy when trying to remember enemy locations, friendly cities, wilds you wish to attack and plains you wish to build on.

Saying this, the empty spots on the map are plains. When kabam releases the update, you will be able to build additional cites on these locations. You must defeat them first of course. Finally, the light blue squares signify the "Battleship-like" coordinates we were discussing before. Again, your coordinates are found on the top picture where the blue circle is.

By clicking the "Map" button on the top left of your screen, you will be able to view the world map. The world map is split into provinces which are then split into tiles such as cities , wildernesses and barbarian camps.

Kingdoms of Camelot also has something called the mists over certain cities. This is for people who have applied a potion, or who are beginning. This game does have , occupied game tiles on the map, so while you can see any tile at any time, it is no small chore to find someone among over half a million possible tiles.

Click on each map tile to open the Profile window for that tile. Depending on the type of tile you may see options to "Scout", "Attack", "Transport", "Reinforce" or "Reassign" using troops in your current city to send to the target tile. Click on any of these options, and you will open the March Troops window where you set up your army and send them out.

This will open the March Troops window like before, but you will need to set the March Type and Target location for yourself. Scouts are relatively useless in the beginning phase of the game due to their cost.

This is one of the reasons scouts are often branded as useless. Further into the game they are quite useful to hide your troops from the enemy. We will get into that later on. If you are a beginner, simply use a single supply troop to attack the field you want to conquer to see what kind of defenses it has. Keep in mind that even if you lose the battle, your knight will return unharmed. If you can't use your knight after they have returned simply press "F5" to refresh your browser and you should be able to access them again.

Your first task is to fill up your wilderness slots. The amount of wildernesses you can control depends on the level of your castle. Build a mighty empire, forge alliances, unlock prizes, and claim your throne as ruler of the kingdom! King Lot of Lothian is dead. His widowed queen, Morgause, appeals to her half-brother Arthur for help. Follow KoCMobile on Twitter for the latest news! Bug Fixes: Fixed the problem that the item Arthur's Conscripts could not be used when tapping on the skill War Mobilization.

Repaired keyboard awakening problem. Fixed the game crash when refreshing the ring attribute. Fixed the overlap between the remaining number of Offer purchases and the purchase countdown display. Great game really feels like your fighting in mid century. Would be a help if the building times were a bit faster. This game envisions everything I find perfect in a kingdom game.

I love how the game works, I just love it. There is too much I have to say about why I find this to be the best game I ever have and ever will play. The game has an extensive tutorial in the form of various recommended quests that the player should undertake in order to get a stable beginning kingdom. The simulation and castle building aspect of the game is broken into three distinct layers.

The city is the world inside the walls of the city and houses the ruling castle, troop facilities, homes, markets and other areas not having to do with resource production or harvest. This is also where the player can change the tax rates, increase happiness through paying gold and collect gold from the people.

Needless to say, grabbing gold will lower their overall happiness. The field is the area just outside the castle walls and houses the farms, mines, saw mills and quarries. In order to build buildings and feed the troops, the kingdom must have resources and this is where these resources are collected. Here players train troops and build weapons for your city walls. The third layer is the map where players can invade enemy camps, conquer woodlands and mountains to increase the amount of resources the player receives and find areas to develop new town and expand the kingdom.

While on the surface, this game seems overly complicated with its multiple layers and numerous buildings, each with a special purpose. In reality, the quests tutorial basically tells you how to do everything. By the time the player has completed it, he will have an understanding of most everything and can concentrate on upgrading, growing and defending the kingdom.
